Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi is a Hindu temple built in 1814, and it is said to be built over the site where the god Krishna was born.
In Matura, we hired a boat for a tour on the Yamuna River. Matura is one of seven cities considered holy by the Hindus, and as such, pilgrims come here to bathe in the river.
A ghat is a series of steps to a body of water considered to be holy, where worshipers can perform ritual bathing.
Depart Agra 17:40.
Arrive New Delhi 18:30.
Next: Simla.
